Once again Belstaff put on a fabulous presentation for their Spring Sumer 17 menswear collection at the very fitting Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
As we arrived, we were treated to Dougie Lampkin MBE (12-time trail world champion) performing bike stunts outside the venue, which set the presentation to an exciting start.
Inside, an array of models were showcasing stunning pieces on the outdoor sets used for the presentation.
The collection was inspired by Bruce Brown's 1971 motorcycle film 'On Any Sunday' starring Steve McQueen, who used to wear Belstaff whilst biking. At the time in which the documentary was made, leather manufacturers were embracing the idea of personalising leatherwear, so the colours and key design references were influenced directly from that era.
Their key leather pieces included belted hand waxed leather Enduro, Romero, Mashburn, Lawwill and the Landrake.
A few looks from the Women's Spring 2017 pre-collection were also included in the presentation; a showcase of hand-waxed suede, lightweight denim, and leathers with similar racing motifs.
