Quaglino's Bottomless Q Lunch

A fabulous venue with a charmingly old-school glamour vibe, Quaglino’s is a great brunch spot for those looking for something slightly different.

The Saturday “Q Brunch” consists of the usual brunching options; eggs, avocado, smoked salmon etc, however, on Sunday's there is a brunching twist. The Sunday bottomless brunch, the “Q Lunch” offers two or three courses- starters, mains and dessert. If you choose to go bottomless there is a choice of prosecco or wine.

We visited the glamourous venue on a Sunday and were seated at one of the best seats in the restaurant, very near the stage that housed the live band for the weekend. The atmosphere was certainly for those who like to party; as the live band played an eclectic mix of music- Pop, RnB, 80’s Classics and Jazz that got the crowd out of their seats and dancing.

To kick off our bottomless brunch, we sampled a delicious Gin based cocktail which consisted of Hendricks, apple juice, elderflower liquor, cucumber and icing sugar.

After our refreshing cocktails, the waiters (who were very attentive and friendly) offered us bottomless Prosecco.

For starters, we had the London smoked salmon, capers, horseradish, cream & blinis. These were very light and delicious.

The Q Lunch mains options included the traditional Sunday roast, however I went for an alternative dish- black bream, caramelised cauliflower, curried raisins and coriander. The dish was plentiful and full of flavour.  The sides complimented the fish dish exceptionally, which included pommes frites, roasted roots, wilted spinach and mixed baby leaves.

For dessert I opted for the Chocolate Marquise with salted praline crèmeux- this was unbelievably tasty- a mousse dessert with a crunchy base which undoubtedly satisfied my sweet tooth.

For a luxury brunch with live performances, an energetic atmosphere, quality food and impeccable service, Qugalino’s is the place to visit.

Available in the Restaurant from 11.30am-2.30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
